A very different kind of bonding this event brought to me and to my mom...
The bond we had in this event is a very memorable one!
Shopping baby stuffs for my first baby at our very first
Grand Baby Fair 2019!
I'm only in my 2 months of pregnancy when I received an email from
my credit card company, Chinabank Corporation, about their promo
for Grand Baby Fair 2019 last July 19-21, 2019 at SMX Manila, MOA, Pasay City.
It caught my attention since most of the products there will have up to 70% off their tag prices!
Rule of thumb, go shopping for sale items only when you need it.
And this calls for one! :)
Me and my mom went during the first day around afternoon after office hours.
Our original plan was just to buy Avent baby bottle since its the only stuff
I could afford to buy during that time.
I still have a long way to go during that time to complete my baby stuffs.
Below are the stuffs we ended up buying during our first Grand Baby Fair:
Philips Avent Newborn Starter Set (Natural)
A handy collection including 4 Natural bottles (2 bottles 4oz and 2 bottles 9oz),
a bottle and nipple brush, and a white translucent pacifier (0-6 months).

we were told by the sales person to buy this nipple for the baby's first few days to a month.

There was no available manual breast pump at Philips Avent that day,
that's why I ended up buying this one.
Though I've been eyeing for an electric pump before going to this event.
But as I've been researching, electric pumps are very expensive!
Even saw one that is priced at Php 25,000.00!
And that's already half of the price of my estimated delivery package from my doctor.
Lol!
We'll use the Philips Avent bottle one for feeding the baby for 0-3 months.
The bottle included in the Pigeon set will be used when the baby grows 3+ months
because of its nipple.

Overall Experience at the Grand Baby Fair 2019:
The said event gave me a new feeling of joy about shopping.
This time, I won't be buying stuffs for myself but for my first baby.
Me and my mom were actually overwhelmed at the products we saw from the event.
Way back 25 years ago, my mom said the sterilizer she had was just to boil the bottles.
And now, the thing for 2019 is an UV sterilizer!
The thing that I regretted the most is not researching about the Grand Baby Fair.
If I knew it earlier, I would've applied for a Mom Card at Baby Company PH
before heading to the said event.
We used SM Advantage Card for the point system.
Instead of getting a Swag Bag with a lot of freebies and goodies
which can only be redeemed by Mom Card holders at minimum purchase of Php 6,000.00
from the event.
I only got a Php 500.00 voucher as a SMAC holder and
the voucher is to be used in any Baby Company PH stores at
minimum purchase of Php 5,000.00.
I wasn't even able to use it because as of what I could remember,
I think the said voucher expired a month or two after the Grand Baby Fair event.
So, I vowed to myself (lol!) that I shall get my Mom Card and have it with me
at the next Grand Baby Fair!
By the way, you could get your Mom Card at any Baby Company PH store
for Php 100.00!
I think the schedule of the said fair is during January and July every year.
Will correct this once I get a confirmation from Baby Company PH!
Overall Spending:
Total original price - Php 22,029.25
Total price after all of the discounts - Php 18,120.00
We were able to save Php 3,909.25!
I still have a lot of stuffs to buy for my baby and I'm already looking forward
to Grand Baby Fair 2020! <3
